She was born in Plainville, Georgia to the late Ralph and Cecil Gunn. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold Butler, sisters, Teresa Key, Edna Earl Clark and brother, William Edgar Gunn.
Mildred was a member at South Seminole Baptist Church and former member of Highland Park Baptist Church. She was grounded in her faith and loved her church community. She will be greatly missed.
Left behind to cherish Mildred’s memory are her nieces, Renee Anzalone Tate (Bill), Mikki Jarema (Toras) and many other family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 2, 2023 in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 2, 2023 in the chapel with Dr. Ron Perry officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in Mildred’s honor.
