Vernon & I grew very close to Bro Hoyt and Joy. Vernon just working with him every day was very special to Vernon. He would have done anything for Bro Hoyt. Then we got the chance to go to Hawaii together. So many good memories.
Joy was the most precious, precious lady. I called her Our First Lady. I considered her one of my closest and dearest friends. I was so sorry that the Lord moved them from Olivet.
I'm so sorry for the emptiness in your hearts right now for the loss of your mom but just think about that pretty smile on her face-she is seeing her Lord and Hoyt!.
Love & Prayers Vernon & Bobby Muse

I was named after Mrs. Aduddell. My middle name is Joy. Our parents told us about Bro Hoyt and Joy who were pastoring the church where they were saved as a young married couple. They lived together almost 68 years until our Daddy went Home in June.
I praise God for Bro Hoyt and Joy and their service to the Lord who brought a young couple to know the Lord which has become a large family of faith! See you in Heaven, Sweet Sister!!!

Joy was such a sweet woman. She will be greatly missed, not only by her family but by her many friends.

I know she is with her Lord and Savior now and rejoicing with her family in heaven.

I have special childhood memories of “Momma Joy”. She always greeted me with a smile and hug. I loved visiting with her. She treated me as one of her boys. Her love warms my heart today and forever. Thank you for loving me!
Until we meet again! Brian

Joy was always such a beautiful, caring and kind lady. The times I got to visit with her while she and Hoyt were at Olivet, when I was playing the organ, were special. I will always hold this family in my heart and prayers. Joy was truly a "Joy"! I feel honored to have known her and although this side of eternity is sad at the loss this leaves here, Heaven is rejoicing at her homecoming! The reunion will be so special! God bless you all at this time.

A sweet lady with a beautiful smile has been received into the kingdom of God. She spent 10 years at Olivet with Hoyt. Under his guidance a new sanctuary was added. Will be praying for the family. Love to all.
