Roland Leroy “RL” Persing (90) of Edmond, Oklahoma, was born July 22, 1928 in Coyle, OK to Earl and Lena Persing and passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018 peacefully at his home. He worked for Oklahoma Natural Gas for over 35 years, retiring in 1984.
RL was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Daryl Lynn Persing. He is survived by his wife, LaQuitta; sons, Gerry and wife Tonya of Edmond and Ray and wife Kathy of Oregon; three granddaughters: Kilee Lamb and husband Josh, Gerika Hirsch and husband Kyle, and Jenifer Williams; nine great-grandkids: Baylee, Emma, Ryan, and Ransom Lamb, Hunter, Landon, and Lincoln Hirsch, and Aubree and Dakotah Hand; three great-great granddaughters: Gracelyn Williams, Kyson Hand, and Iris Martin; and brother, Graydon Persing.
