Julita Sayoto Isla (78yrs) passed away peacefully at Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton, AB on Friday, June 4, 2021. The day was also a special occasion as she celebrated her 57th Wedding Anniversary with her beloved husband Segundo Isla before her last breath.

She will forever be remembered by her children Edna, Sigfred, Irma, Catherine, Anna Lissa, Frederick, Anna Marie, Bernadette, Arthur, their spouses and her beautiful 23 grandchildren. Many family and friends will always remember Julita's thoughtfulness, her giving ways, and most of all her deep love for her family. Her devotion and faith in God and the Catholic beliefs never wavered and she included everyone in her prayers.

Special thanks to all the doctors, nurses and hospital staff who extended their compassion and understanding towards Julita, her husband and family.

Rest in Peace, Julita Sayoto Isla, and may perpetual light shine upon you forever.

Your love is like the sun, surrounding us with your warmth and brightening our darker days. It rained on the day you passed away and it truly represents how we feel..that we lost a truly remarkable, refined and intelligent lady that even the “heavens wept”, as did our hearts. We will always remember and follow your Faithful life and to do our best to “fight a good fight”. We love you always and
thank you for being such an inspiring mother and a exceptional Lola to our children. We miss you but please know we will stay strong just like you shown us through your time here with us.
You will forevermore be our guiding angel.

We pay tribute to Mare Julia Sayoto Isla as she joins her creator in her eternal life. We will remember her as always a very sweet, meek & humble woman with a heart bigger than life. We talked over the phone lengthily not long ago as we both share the joys & triumphs of our children & grandchildren. Mare Lita loved so well unconditionally as a wife, a mother, a grandmother & friend to so many. She has deep faith in God & never stops praying for others especially her children & grandchildren that she takes pride & adores greatly. May her legacy lives in us all & may she inspires us with her virtues & character. May you Rest In Peace in God’s loving embrace. To her family left behind may you be comforted knowing that you now have an angel to watch over & guide you in every way.

Known as my auntie Lita, she was THE one aunt that made me feel special throughout my childhood. She took me in as one of her own and I will always appreciate that. She made me feel I belonged and did not hold any judgement towards me. All those sleepovers I had with my cousins, I remember her loving ways towards me. Auntie Lita, thank you for showing me kindness and compassion. I know without a doubt you are in a place of bliss and joy.

It is hard to believe we were talking just a few weeks ago. As usual, we had a long talk. I did not realize it would be our last one, and in a way you were saying goodbye to me.

For years we have shared so many happy and sad events in our lives. Memories that I will never forget.

I am very sad that you are gone. In the true spirit of Bicolano, you were my best friend and like my sister. We shared everything about our families. You were a great mother and a very loving and caring person.

I will forever miss you. I know you are in good company and in God’s hands.

Rest in Peace Lita.

I thank God for Ate Lita. I believe God brought her into my life for a purpose. She was not only a friend but a family to us. She is one person I knew that is truly passionate about her faith in God, with unconditional love for her family and caring heart for her friends who she considers "family." Her generosity and giving heart ❤ is indescribable. I will remain grateful to God for allowing our paths to cross and our wonderful memories will remain in my heart forever.
I love you Ate Lita and although I will miss our long chats, I am relieved that you're not in pain anymore and at peace now with your Creator. So I won't say goodbye, instead I say...see you again in God's time. Love and miss you Ate.

I am blessed to call Julita "Mommy" as she is like a second mom to me. She's beautiful and have a loving heart. I love hearing her stories about her life with her family whenever we get together.
One time, I had a chance to talked to her on the phone while Daddy was in the hospital. When she told me stories about her kids, I know how much she loves them and she is thankful to each one of them. She is most thankful to her eldest kid, Edna who is always there for them.
Your mothers kindness was contagiousand her memory will live forever.

With my deepest sympathy from my family to yours.

Thanking God for having known you as a friend, Manang kind, loving and generous. Also thankful for your warm ,caring and sister-like ways, as extended family through Allen & Edna
but mostly because as daughter of God
those virtues always come naturally.
We will miss you dearly Manang Lita.
May you rest in God's Eternal Peace!
