I enjoyed spending time with Uncle Lorne when I’d pick him up for visits with me and Mom. Now that he’s gone, I appreciate this time with him even more. He was an excellent uncle!

Lorne was a very special brother to me. He had a heart of gold, was a very hard worker, and was generous with his time. Dale and I always looked forward to our fun camping trips with him and Norma. In later years and until very recently, I really enjoyed his friendly visits.
It was painful for me to watch him deteriorate in the hospital, but it was important visit daily, sometimes twice, because we all were concerned and loved him so very much.
Lorne, know you are forever loved and will never be forgotten. Your sister Rose Fuder.

I have so many delightful memories of Uncle Lorne. His infectious laugh , his kindness and caring approach to everything. As a kid I knew I could expect much love, hugs and help with anything I needed. I remember how he glowed when he was with Auntie Norma who was also such a treasure. They both were the most fun. He spent his life supporting and encouraging all whom he met, his dancing was mesmerizing. Although missing him will be raw and painful take heart and comfort in picturing the reunion and dancing that is going on in heaven. My heart aches for his family whom he cherished so much. My wish is the memories you made with him will sustain you through the hurt.

Lorne was a very thoughtful caring man who was always there to lend a hand. He taught me how to “mud” properly after he saw the mess I had made of my walls. He had a warm smile that was very inviting and made you feel special. I will always remember how handsome of a couple you were at your 40th anniversary and how well you and Norma danced together. Our condolences to the family

Whenever I went to visit my dad at Goldring manor Lorne always had a ready smile and friendly hello. He would look out for my dad and make sure he was OK. I will miss his friendly smile and nature. Blessing his family and Goldring friends with comfort at this difficult time.

Lorne and Norma were our neighbours growing up and never a day went by you didnt see them out in the yard smiling and laughing and helping everyone that crossed their path, they were very dear to our family and we had many adventures together, I remember teaching courtney to read in their home, playing with Taylor in the playroom, Ashley coming to "help" build her dads car with my dad and numerous camping/fishing trips. I remember patching up lornes hand after he sliced it open helping my mom do renovations. You will be missed greatly but NEVER forgotten. My dad was very saddened to hear of his passing and also sends his greatest condolences. Love and prayers are with you all.

My Dad was a great dancer. I loved dancing with him. It was the best part of going to weddings!!

Dad was always there when you needed something fixed or built. Always helped with whatever you needed.

Miss you Dad 💞💔
