Ben was born July 26, 1986 to Donald and Patricia Meeks Ramey in El Dorado, Arkansas.
A graduate of West Side Christian School, he attended South Arkansas Community College then worked in quality control for Canfor Southern Pine in the lamination plant (formerly Anthony Forest Products). Ben loved his job and was loved and respected by his coworkers. He enjoyed a full life with many loving friends and family.
A member of Three Creeks Baptist Church he accepted Christ as his savior at age 7.
Preceding him in death were his father and fraternal grandparents Robert and Irene Ramey.
Survivors include his mother and maternal grandparents, Leland and Reva Meeks of Fairfield, IL, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 7, at 10 a.m. at Three Creeks Baptist Church.
