Bobbie C. Whitefield
October 3, 1941 – July 21, 2022
A local sinner saved by the Grace of God through her Faith in the Redeeming Blood of The Christ, Jesus, has been called Home by her Creator. Bobbie Ruth Cheers Whitefield left this world to live Eternally with her Savior at 4:45pm, Thursday, July 21, 2022 in Fort Smith, AR. She breathed her last earthly breath peacefully in the presence of family. Bobbie was a prayer warrior. Constantly petitioning the Lord on behalf of her family, Church and friends. She lived her life humbly before God and selflessly for her family. Always placing others’ needs above her own. She worked tirelessly for her household and was fully committed to her Church Family. She was seen by those who knew her as a model wife and mother; never backing down, never giving up and always pushing forward projecting the Fruits of the Spirit that flowed from her words and actions. Born October 3, 1941 to Will Robert and Lucille Burris Cheers in Sayre, AR. She was given in Holy Matrimony to Billy Ray Whitefield on February 20, 1960 in Magnolia, AR. They were unified as One for 62 years, 5 months and 1 day. She is survived by her husband, three sons: Mark Allen (Lisa), James Michael and David Ray. Three grandchildren: Brent Allen, Shelby Nicole and Cierra Roze. Six great-grandchildren: Madison & Liam, Jaxon & Chance, Jaiden & Emberly. Two sisters: Lynn Dean Gantt and Wanda LaNell Cheers. Nephews & Nieces: Randall, Richard, Peggy, and Susan. And a loving soul, Veronica, so dear to her heart that she called her “daughter”. Preceded in death by her parents, sister Willa Jane Earl and nephew Steven. Visitation will be held at Mt Union Baptist Church, Saturday, July 30, 2022, at 10:00am followed by a service celebrating her life at 11:00am. Casual dress is requested. In lieu of flowers, Bobbie requested donations to Mt Union Baptist Church missions in her name.
