Mr. Urteaga,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the U.S. Army in Europe fighting the Germans during WW II as a member of the 36th “Texas” Infantry Division from 1943-1945. Judging from the nine Battle Stars you earned on your EAME Service Medal you probably saw action starting in September of 1943 at Salerno, Italy all the way through Italy, Southern France and into Germany in 1945 in some some of the toughest fighting through to VE-Day. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
