David Michael Couch

David Michael Couch passed away the morning of Monday, July 2, 2018 after prolonged illness. He is survived by his wife Rita, sister Diane, his sons Josh and Jesse and daughter Kristen and stepson Ricky Lee.

Born January 27, 1 943, David led a full life, traveling around the world as a soldier, photographer and travel writer. His accomplishments include award-winning photography, writing and numerous friends and family.

His military experience was one of heroism and bravery, and he served in Vietnam until he was honorably discharged after being severely wounded by an enemy mine.

Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 4, at Funeraria del Angel Kaster-Maxon & Futrell Funeral Home, 8817 Dyer Street, El Paso, Texas. Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 5, at the funeral home followed by graveside service at 1:00 p.m. at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, Fort Bliss, Texas.
