Elena R. Tellez

Elena R.Tellez (82) passed away peacefully Sunday, August 5, 2018. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother & great grandmother. Elena kept many family traditions – she would never let you leave her house without giving you her blessing. Her faith and love guided and protected us throughout our lives. She knew everyone in her own special way and was selfless. She instilled her hard working values and principles including loyalty, honesty and above all, our faith in God. She worked in the apparel manufacturing industry for 40+ years; Farah for 22 years and Lee Apparel until her retirement. She was always on the go, she would drive herself everywhere and never wanted to burden anyone, but when it came time to relax, her novelas were her favorite past time. She was worth her weight in GOLD and her Chantilly Perfume lingered everywhere she went. She was proceeded in death by her parents Jose Rios and Aurora Reyes. Siblings: Guillermo, Ulta Gracia, Dolores and also her husband of 64 years Felix M Tellez. Brother: Jose Rios. Sisters: Josephina, Alicia and Matilde. Children: Yolie (Manny) Martinez, Felix (Ruby) Tellez, Jr., Irene (Carlos) Sanchez, Rudy (Claudia) Tellez, Gracie (Mando) Pina, Amanda Tellez, April (Manny) Delgado and Rudy (Yvonne)Tellez, Jr. Grandchildren: 16 and Great grandchildren: 26. We want to thank the staff at Del Sol Hospital ICU Unit RN Claudia Romo and RN Venessa Magallanes. Dr. Quesada from El Paso Pulmonary Association and Dr. Munoz. Vigil will be held Thursday August 9, 2018 at 10:30am at St. Pius X Catholic Church with funeral mass at 11:15am. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
