Emma Mata

Emma was born December 29, 1927. She was a life long resident of El Paso. She is preceded in death by her husband Jose Mata, by her parents Toribio Ontiveros and Petra Chavez Ontiveros, sisters, Magdalena, Rita, Eugenia, Teresa Flores, brother, Samuel and Jose Luis Ontiveros.

Emma is survived by her children Alma Zent (David), Albert Mata (Ewa), Pat Mata and Martha Mata Rasura.

She will be missed by her grandchildren, Charles Zent, Albert Zent, Robert Zent, Edgar Mata, great-grandchildren, Sariah Zent, Milan Mata and another due in June, 2021.

Emma is survived by her brothers Daniel Ontiveros and Armando Ontiveros.

There are no words to describe what she meant to us, how much we loved her, or the deep sadness we feel at her passing.

"Mother you will always be with us."

A Mass will be held in her honor at a later date at Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
