Our beloved mother and grandmother was born on March 4th, 1924 in Juarez Mexico. Orphaned into this world at the age of one, she strived and flourished despite enormous odds. She was married to Jesus Salas ✝, on April18th, 1939. Shortly after Inez and Jesus were married, they became loving parents of Delia Tarango, Guadalupe Salas ✝, Elida Loa, Alicia Salas, Catalina Delgado, Mariaelena Almanza, and Jaime Salas.
Living in Juarez Mexico raising there seven children, Inez worked as a maid, nanny, and caretaker while living a very modest life. Inez worked diligently to ensure her children received proper educations and emphasized the importance of hard work while never sacrificing the amount of love displayed to her children. The couple followed their children and immigrated to the United States, where she continued her care for her grandchildren while still maintaining her work ethic in the job force. Upon retirement Inez continued her calling as a loving mother also raising numerous grandchildren, seeng them to adulthood. Always an optimist, Inez battled and survived cancer with a smile, she never let any of her illnesses interfere with her love and happiness.
Inez finally settled in Anthony, New Mexico, along with her husband Jesus, and her daughter Mariaelena. She continued her motherly duties and was an integral part in the raising of their granddaughter Vanessa Rodriguez. Inez was Widowed in 1999 after sixty years of marriage. She spent the remainder of her life devoted to raising her great granddaughter Arianna Madrid.
