Magdalena D. Velasquez
August 3, 1924 – November 12, 2020
After a long, difficult and courageous battle with Covid-19, our mother Magdalena was mercifully called to Heaven by our Lord Jesus Christ on November 12, 2020. We were blessed to have our mom for 96 years. She was a Strong, Giving, Devout Catholic woman who loved all her family. Magdalena raise six children with husband Alejandro Velasquez and tended to both her father Luis Dominguez and father-in-Law Manuel Velasquez until their passing.
Preceding her and waiting lovingly for Magdalena are her husband Alejandro, Grandchild Anthony, parents, brothers Hector, Horacio, Julio and Sergio Dominguez and Beloved Sister Luz.
Left to cherish her memory are her children and their spouses: Luis Manuel (Edna), Graciela (Jesus R), Norma, Irma (Richard), David (Gloria), Gilbert (Rosa).
Her legacy consists of 15 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren whom she adored and gave meaning to her life.
Her surviving siblings are sister Esperanza Beltran and brother Rene Gilberto Dominguez whom she raised and loved like a son. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, Godchildren and her dog Cookie.
Due to Covid restrictions only immediate family allowed at service.
In Lieu of Flowers make donations in Her Name to: Corpus Christi Monastery of Perpetual Adoration at 451 Mockingbird Rd, El Paso Tx, 79907.

+JMJ+ To my Dear Comadre, Irma and her loved ones, mi Más sentido pésame! I am so sorry for your loss. I have good memories of your mom as I came into my teen years so long ago! Your family showed me much, but mostly, you were one of the first families I witnessed as a true Catholic family. Oh, how I wish I could go in person to pay my respects. Please know I will be praying with you and for you. I will also offer mass intentions specifically for her through my parish. Fidélium ánimæ per misericórdiam Dei requiéscant in pace. Amen. +
