On Tuesday, December 18, 2018, Elisabeth Katharina Kail of Odenton, MD. Wife of the late James E. Kail and Thomas Murphy and her lifetime partner John Walters. Beloved mother of Harry C. Kail and his wife Debbie and Yvonne D. Jeffers and her fiancé Donald Tanguilig. Sister of Heinrich Schmidt and the late Wilhelm Schmidt. Grandmother of Christina Hanks, Cari Baumgartner, Taylor Kail, Bernard and Katharina Jeffers and the late James Kail. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and loving friends.
Mrs. Kail was a stay at home mom, loved crocheting and knitting, baking, gardening, German Polka music, making wine and was a member of O’Malley Senior Citizens Center, Odenton, MD and the German Wives Club and was a top bowler in her younger years.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Inc., 7250 Washington Boulevard, Elkridge, MD 21075 ( exit 6 off Rt. 100 south) on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Where a Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Elkridge, MD. If desired, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the University of Maryland Medical Center Shock Trauma Unit, 22 S. Green Street, Baltimore, MD 21201.
