My Mom and I are so sorry to hear of Gladys' passing. We were just talking about Gladys when we saw your picture on facebook of Gladys, You, Kristin, and Macy and what a wonderful picture of the four of you. Mom and I remember all the nice mornings we stood on the bus stop with the kids, You all are in our prayers and thoughts.

Mom Wahlhaupter was my adopted Mom for over 50+ years. As my parents when we grew up were other places in the USA living. Memories were traveling with them when Donna and I were in our teens. Hanging out at the trailer in Ocean City when we were young and doing the beach thing. Just stopping over when I lived in Maryland to see what they were up to. Mom would say, you wanted a little something to eat, and fix me a sandwich or some cake or cookies she had around. Then we just talk or watch TV together in the small den on the main floor. Played a lot of billiards in the basement, and swimming in the pool outside as well.
When we would go all shopping, Mom and I would sit out on a bench and wait for Donna to shop. We would just talk. In her later years just getting together when I visited my sister, would always make a point to come to see Mommy Wahlhaupter and catch up. Once a week would call her and talk for hours, the time difference made it a challenge sometimes. She and her daughter would always include me in their family gathering, I was just part of the family. I must carry on the tradition and make her Christmas Cookies for the family now. I Will miss her so dearly Mom Wahlhaupter you are with Donald now, good friends and brother and sisters, and your parents. She will be looking down on Donna, Henry, Kristin, Jimmy, and Macy, and me. Love always Pat xxxxooo
