Auntie Deena - Aunt, Great Aunt and Great, Great Aunt. There is no way that a few lines here can adequately express my feelings, nor do justice to all that you did for me, Nick and the family. As your niece you have been a presence in my life for nearly 71 years whatever the physical distances between countries involved. You leave us with so many precious memories of times spent together - outings, birthdays, holidays and family celebrations. A wonderful correspondent, welcoming and generous hostess and great companion to all. Thank you for those happy memories, always to be remembered love and hugs Deena xx

Dear Auntie Deena,
Although I only got to meet you a couple of times I was always pleased to receive your cards and letters and tell the children all about you living in Florida. I will remember your wonderful energy and sparkle and hope that you are having parties on the other side with Dorothy, Ken and George. Give Auntie Dorothy a kiss from me if you are.
Love Michelle xxxxx

Deena was a very dear friend of our family: firstly of my parents who knew her and George when they lived in Ibiza, Spain before they moved to Bradenton. Our children adopted her as their 'Florida Granny' and she flew over to England for all their weddings. In Florida we shared many many Christmases, thanksgivings & birthdays and we visited each other's churches on numerous occasions.: Deena was always fun to be with and all our friends & family adored her, as we did.... We treasure wonderful memories as what she affectionately referred to herself as 'a little old lady from Florida'!
