When a Great person passes on,
and life's day fades to the dark of night
They leave us with a priceless gift,
like a star's perpetual light.
She was the matriarch of our family
And wanted all of us to aspire;
And of her royal traits
it was her wisdom that I did most admire.
She would share pride in your success
And let you know when you were wrong
She knew when you were weak and
In these moments, with love, made you strong.
Consider yourself blessed,
if you count my Grandma among the people you knew
She was many things to many people.
Whatever role she held, that is her gift to you.
To me she was the standard,
of how to treat others, enjoy and view life
let the memories of your time with her
shine on you like a star's perpetual light.

You are loved by many. One thing I most remember about you was your love towards animals. You are a kind person and will be missed. You are in a better place now and in peace. I love you.
