Eiko Long, age 84, of San Marcos, California passed away on Wednesday March 28, 2018. Eiko was born April 7, 1933 in Okinawa, Japan to Ryutoku and Oto Sakugawa.

Family was very important to Eiko and they loved going on camping trips. You would often find Eiko in the kitchen cooking up some amazing food, and for fun she loved to travel. One of her favorite trips was to Alaska and when she was not traveling, you would find her at the casino playing her favorite slot machines.

Eiko is survived by her daughter Teresa; son John; 3 sisters, Asako, Noriko, and Iko; and 1 brother Machu. She was proceeded in death by her parents, and her loving husband Douglas.

A visitation gathering for Eiko will be held Friday, April 6, 2018 at 3:00 PM at McLeod Mortuary, 1919 E. Valley Parkway, Escondido 92027.
