Alice Moesner

November 11, 1934September 23, 2013

Alice Moesner, 78, of Evansville, passed away Monday, September 23, 2013, at North Park Nursing Center. She was born November 11, 1934, in Tell City, IN, to the late Lloyd and Lillian Terry.

She graduated from Indiana University, the University of Evansville and Indiana State. She was a school teacher for 29 years at Stockwell Elementary before retiring from Scott Elementary in 2001. She was an ETA Representative and Media Specialist and a member of Daughters of American Revolution. She enjoyed camping and sewing.

Alice was preceded in death by her grandson, Aaron.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Moesner; son, Jeff Smith; stepson, Keith Moesner; stepdaughter, Tammy Tevault; grandchildren, Ivy, Blake, Skyler, Ashley and Adam; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Evan and Jaxon; brother, Marshall “Doc” Terry; and sister, Vada Cronin.

Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, September 26, 2013, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. David Peterson, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

I taught with Alice at Stockwell for many years. Alice was beautiful inside and out, and everyone loved her. She will be missed. God bless the family.

Tom and I wish to express our condolences to your family. We were planning to come tonite, but the nursing home just called and our mom , Eloise is failing fast. They said maybe a couple of days , so we are spending as much time as we can with her. Our prayers are with your family in your time of loss.
