Dorothy (Paris) Simpson, 94, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015, at Ridgewood Health Campus in Lawrenceburg. She was born May 11, 1921 in Frances, KY to the late Shelby and Berdie (Simpkins) Brashear.
She retired after 25 years at Welborn Hospital. She enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time with her SWIRCA friends.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her first husband, John Paris; son, Larry Paris; second husband, Bob Simpson; and six siblings.
She is survived by her daughter, Pat (Sam) Mason-Green; granddaughters, Amy (Ken) Mason and Angie (Jason) Boyd; six great-grandchildren; brother, Weldon “Digger” (Elaine) Brashear; and sister-in-law, Barb Smallwood.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at Oak Hill Cemetery.
