She loved arts, crafts, and playing bridge.
Evagene was preceded in death by her husband, Denzil "Chub" Nelson; grandson, Garrett Nelson Mullen; sister, Thelma Henderson; and brother, James Birkhead.
She is survived by her daughter, Lesa Mullen and her husband, Bill; grandchild, Kristen Harvey and her husband, Jarrod; great-grandchildren, Cooper, Bennett, and Max; and nieces, Janie Morris and Linda Tobey.
A special thank you to Heart to Heart Hospice and the staff at River Pointe Health Campus for their care and kindness, as well as family and close friends for their support.
