Roger D Spinks
March 3, 1956 – February 5, 2019
Roger D. Spinks, 62 of Newburgh, IN went home to Jesus on February 5, 2019.
Roger’s sense of humor and never-ending Dad jokes entertained his three daughters. Do you know why Roger liked to wear camouflage in his wheelchair? Because he could hide, but he couldn’t run!
He was preceded in death by his parents; Frank and Effie Mae Spinks; siblings, Donald and Thurman; niece, Rebecca Spinks and Roger’s lifetime friend and first wife Cis Lemmons.
Roger is survived by his daughters; Michelle Stutsman (Mark), Melinda Jones (Timmy), and Amy Woods (Matt). Roger’s love was immense for the two daughters of his heart Elissa and Amanda Tindle. Roger was an outdoorsman and loved spending time hunting and fishing with his brother Randy. Roger strengthened his faith with fellowship given to him by his sister Margaret (Andy). As a Papa, Roger enjoyed his grandchildren Cody, Kayla, Sean, and Maura Stutsman, Brayden Spinks and Nathan Jones, and Mattie Woods. Great-grandchildren, Kylie Minnette and Avery Spinks. Along with the grandchildren and great grandchildren of his heart Elissa and Amanda’s children. Roger was willing to show the latest pictures to anyone willing to view their gorgeous faces.
