I have been a nurse for almost 40 years and yes sometimes I get tired of the job, like everyone does, and wonder " why do I do this?"
Let me tell you why I do this job and why I have done it for 40 years, almost.
Roland Combs, that's why I do this.....every other Tuesday when I go back to work, he would always say, " Well where have you been? I have missed you.....in that sweet tender Kentuckian "twang". He was such a sweet man.
We love you "RoRo", may you fly high and free. Once you enter Heaven's gates, there will be no more pain or suffering....You will be missed, but with gratitude and happiness I wipe the tear from my eye, that I say until we meet again.....Thank you Roland for gracing my life with your presence...
