Thomas Brunswick March, 85, of Owensboro, KY, formerly of Evansville, passed away gracefully on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Kindred Transitional Care & Rehabilitation in Owensboro, KY. He was born June 20, 1927, in Gary, IN to the late Tom and Albina (Brunswick) Kaczmarczyk.
He received two purple hearts during his service in the U.S. Navy in WWII. Thomas was a renaissance man - creative, active and artistic. He was a voracious reader and penned several novels of his own. In his earlier days he was an avid fly fisherman and golfer, and maintained a passion for wood carving and painting throughout his later life. He was also a very talented chef.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Eric Thomas March.
He is survived by his daughter, Gail March of Austin, TX.
