My soul is hurting to hear of the lost of Tom, he was a great friend growing up. Prayers to Candy and the family. I laid in bed last night remembering many times of playing basket ball at the church and Dennis Williams house. Then at North High School we attended Auto Mechanics junior and senior years. Friday nights hanging out on the westside listening to music. Tom like to listen to Jimi Hendrix he would blast Purple Haze in the parking lot. God rest his soul.
Good by old friend until another day.

Tom and I were childhood friends...we would play neighborhood sports...Tom was a good athlete...more importantly, he was always kind and upbeat....even though we didn't keep in touch as adults...i will miss him..., but keep good memories

Tom will be missed by all .I am sorry for the wuertz families loss. Tom and I worked together for 39 years of my 43 and 1/2 years at the power plant. Tom was a sports fan with great knowledge of all sports. Tom never met a stranger and talked to everyone he met. He never failed to say hello and smiled when you he approached you. I will keep the wuertz family in my prayers. Myron Rucker
