On March 12th 1959 Pam was born and her birth gave this world one of the most caring, loving, thoughtful, forgiving, joyful and wonderful people this world had the joy of meeting. On June 30th 2018 Pam’s soul peacefully left her body to be with God. Pam’s soul lovingly touched so many people throughout her life. The memories of her will live on in the hearts and memories of all her many, many friends and family forever.
Life was not always nice and or fair to Pam. But her ability to look past that and be happy was amazing. It also never stopped her from doing what she wanted to do; have fun and enjoy the great parts of life. The great parts that she loved was; spending time with family and friends, making new friends, talking with just about anyone, laughing, eating (she was not picky on this one, but she did love tootsie rolls), art projects (in particular coloring), listening to music or sitting just about anywhere outside and enjoying whatever scenery nature and god had put in front of her.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm, on Friday, July 20th at First Church of the Nazarene, 2502 Lombard, Everett, WA 98201. All are welcome to come and remember, laugh, cry and grieve together.
Please enjoy the poem below. Pam wrote it about our Grandma before she passed, and is just as true about Pam.
Grandma
Her strength has weakened
My heart holds the pain
As the circle of life streams by in vain
Family members fly by with no clue about the nights
The ones that keep me bonded to this thing called life
My soul stays afloat as flashbacks make me choke
This burning feeling is hot and hard to hold
I feel so helpless with very little hope
Years of wisdom, her face shows it all
She's made a pathway that glows from it all
