Marina Adame, age 92 entered into rest peacefully on October 14th, 2020 surrounded by her family in song. She was born July 18th, 1928 in Torrington, Wyoming to Thomas and Eulalia Perez.

She was a special woman of faith. Her life was a living example of her favorite bible verse Romans 12:12— “ Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”

Marina’s greatest love was her family. She loved raising her grandchildren and worked tirelessly to provide opportunities for them. Her passion was her love for the lord and serving her local community of Rancho Cordova where she lived for over 50 years. Her home was always open to a warm meal or bible studies. She also loved gardening and evangelizing.

For over 30 years, Marina worked as a youth and children’s ministry leader for Church of God 7th Day. She touched many lives through coordinating church retreats and teaching Sabbath school. She worked with many churches across Northern and Southern California. She will always be known as Hermana Marina or Teacher.

Marina is survived by her husband Henry Adame of 68 years and three children. Her daughter Henrietta Reyes, son Joel Adame, and youngest daughter Eva Adame. Her eight grandchildren; Nathan Adame, Raymond Barrera, Andrea Reyes, Cherie Adame, Marina Reyes, Adamina Adame, Julian Adame, and Malachi Reyes; plus 14 great-grandchildren.
