Pauline Marie Rister

Pauline Marie Rister, age 103, of Fair Oaks, California died May 31, 2011. She was born in Southern California, married her husband, Floyd C. Rister (dec’d), and worked as a homemaker in Beverly Hills, raising their two children, Donald K. Rister (dec’d) and Linda D. (Rister) Cowgill. Pauline and Floyd moved to Fair Oaks in 1974, where they spent the rest of their lives. Pauline was a lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star, Ocean Park Chapter #245 in Santa Monica, also a member of the Daughters of the Nile and several Masonic social organizations with Floyd. She is survived by her Daughter, Linda, and her daughter-in-law Patricia Jamison, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She will be laid to rest with her loving husband of 72 years with services under the direction of Mount Vernon Mortuary on June 20, 2011 at 11:30 AM after the visitation held at 8:30 to 10:30 AM
