Mrs. Rodin, Helen, Jim:
This is Toni (Tononi) Chambers. Please accept my condolences on the loss of Eulalie. I socialized with Helen in high school, Jim at Wright State, and still remember the kindness of Mrs. Rodin when my dad passed in 2001. I live in Beavercreek now (widowed) and plan to attend the Funeral Mass.
With continued prayers, Toni

Dearest Mary and family,
I am deeply sorry for your lost of Eulalia. She holds a special place in my heart. My pet therapy dog, Bowie and I visited her often. Eulalia loved to have Bowie up in bed and Bowie loved being with her. It was a very special bond.
We will miss her keen sense of humor, easy smiles and warm friendship. A remarkable lady and dear friend.
My sincere sympathy and prayers.

Mary, I just heard of your daughter's death. I know you cared faithfully and lovingly for her for many years. What a loyal and supportive Mother you have been, always ready to play games and see that she was well cared for. Please accept my sympathy for your loss

Eulalia and I used to joke about being sisters, as our last names were different versions of the same surname. She always had a bright smile and laughing eyes, a great sense of humor, and I will remember her that way. Despite her challenges, she went on to make a place for herself as a writer. She was unique and quirky and I will miss her.
