I think of you often and smile knowing you are up there with Kris and now Mike. We loved you like another dad you always made me see the world in a different view. You taught me more then you will ever know and always was the ladies man. I hope one day I can be the man that you were. Please take care of my sweet bride and one day we will walk all together again. Love you..

When I first met Homer it was as awkward as meeting any girlfriends dad. But he was different in the aspect of not blowing me off ( as a father of two girls myself, I think I would have). He never treated me with anything but respect, and honesty...even when I didn't necessarily want it. Over the years I knew him our friendship grew and he became the father I never had. I always told him "I want to be just like u when I grow up", and that's still true. He is know to alot of people as a mechanic, but he " repaired" people more than cars. His widom and experience was second to none. And he was never to busy to share it. I hope someday i will be remembered and honored like him...because he is just " AWESOME". I know he has been and will always be sorely missed in this houshold, I see/ feel it everyday. He will always be in my thoughts and hopefully in my actions and words for the rest of my days. I hope he knows how much I appreciate the time we spent together and especially the blessing of his daughter in my life. Where ever u are Homer I know u are in good company and I know we will see each other again...mabe we can do somthin new like " smoke and drink and tell lies"!!! Many, many papaw I will always miss u.
Love, your son...

I've only known you for a short amount of time! But in that short amount of time I felt like you, and your family was a part of my life; you became my family! You always made sure I was oka! You always called to see how I was doing! You always made me smile! I remember in the summer you wore your "dasiey dukes" over by the pool! :) lol also you gave me the beat down about my ex... which was true! Thanks for always being there and looking out for me! Homer you will be missed dearly but now I know I will always have someone special will be watching over me! You will always hold a special spot in my heart. MINI MINI! Always and forever!
