As a former student of Mr. Steppe, I can confidently say that he was an amazing person. He would always put a smile on students’ faces while still being able to properly teach the content at hand. It breaks my heart that he has passed, but he will be remembered as someone who was funny, intelligent, and professional. Rest In Peace.

As a colleague of Al's at Annandale HS, I knew him to be a warm, friendly, caring teacher and person. Please accept my condolences on his loss. He will be remembered by so many people he touched. God be with you in your grief.

Mr. Steppe was not only an amazing teacher but one of the the most caring and loving person I’ve ever met, he always asked how my day was going with a warm smile on his face and how my grades were. When I had gotten the message that he had passed away I was devastated and sad that I had not only lost one of my all time favorite teachers but someone special to me, he was like a brother to me. All my prayers go to Mr. Steppe and his family. May he Rest In Peace.

To April and Family: The Inge Family including myself are praying that You & your Family will not be overwhelmed by the loss of your Brother, Albert. My Sister, Jarnette & I enjoyed spending time with both You April & Albert. We had loads of fun chatting & laughing when our Parents often got us all together. I will always cherish those times we spent growing up in Virginia. April, You & your Family will be in our prayers. Almighty God will give You all the strength through many memories with Albert that will sustain your Family forever. Our Love & sympathy is with You all @ this time...
