Esther E Nelson, 94, passed away early Friday morning, April 13, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Wayne F Nelson, and devoted son, Scott W Nelson. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Jim) Stark of Cincinnati, OH, granddaughters Katelin Stark of Cincinnati, OH and Sarah (Michael) Lineberry of Radford, VA, grandson Ken (Michelle) Stark of Zionsville, IN, and great grandsons Ty Hamblin and Andrew Lineberry of Radford.

Esther was born in Lancaster, NY to John and Irene Zittel. She married Wayne in 1945 and they moved to Huntington, WV a few years later. They moved to Akron, OH in 1956 when Wayne joined A. Schulman, Inc. as Director of Research. After Wayne retired, they became "snow birds" spending time at their home in Naples, FL during the winter months. Esther cherished the many dear friends and neighbors she had in the Akron area, especially those she met through Westminster United Presbyterian Church and Akron Woman's City Club. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed getting together with "the girls" for lunch and a rousing game of Hand & Foot as well.
