Henrietta "Sis" M. Bertelsman

Henrietta “Sis” M. Bertelsman, nee Klawonn, age 88, of Belleville, IL, born on July 15, 1933 in Belleville, IL, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022 at Four Fountains in Belleville, IL. Mrs. Bertelsman was retired. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Belleville, IL. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John B. Beres, Jr. and her second husband, Clarence C. Bertelsman; her parents, Charles and Martha Ann, nee Kaemmerer Klawonn; five brothers, Carl Klawonn, Walter Klawonn, Albert Klawonn, William Klawonn and Louis Klawonn. Surviving is her step-daughter, Robin, nee Bertelsman (Tim) Whittington, step-granddaughter, Hannah Whittington, step-grandsons, Clayton (Baleigh) Whittington and Sterling Whittington, a step great-granddaughter, Rae Lynn Whittington., all of Mocksville, N.C.. She is also survived by many numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Memorial donations may be made to Zion Lutheran Church of Belleville, IL. A private family graveside service will be held at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL with her nephew, Pastor Steven Klawonn as the officiant.
