My family and I have been long time neighbors of the Bak family. We couldn’t have found any better neighbors. Carol was an exceptionally kind and caring woman. She always showed interest in others. What a loss for the Bak family and for all who knew her. She made the world a better place.

Carol was a beautiful and caring person. My Mother Edith Shepherd Perkins and Carol’s Mother Kay were Cousins and best friends for many years. I knew Carol when I was younger. I got a lot of her hand me down clothes which I thought were wonderful. My family and I always spent Christmas Eve at their home in Swampscott and then continued the tradition in Gloucester after her parents moved. This picture of Carol, David and Ed from Christmas Eve in Gloucester ? 1972. Sadly last time I saw Carol was in Gloucester when she and David were visiting her Mother. David was about 12 and I remember he took me out in their rowboat. My condolences to her family.
