I remember meeting Bill first time at his wedding if memory serves me right. Albuquerque 96.  A  big champion of motorcyclists rights. As editor of the magazine for The Motorcycle Action Group UK I valued his dispatches. Every story about another state win on the helmet law particularly cheered me up. It was with great sadness  when I heard about Bill's passing.  My condolences to Darlene and the family. 
I have enjoyed the RideNRoll Summer Long dice run for several years now. I really appreciate all that Bill  and Darlene have done.

So sorry to hear.  Condolences to Darlene and Rachelle. He was the best.  I remember I first met Bill at an event where he was working for Russ Brown, the rival of his future long-time employer, Richard Lester. Over the years, we always hung out at least a little at the NCOM conventions, and we've chatted online since I retired 7 years ago. He will be missed.

How can I add just one memory?  There are so many!  Bill and I have remained friends since my early days in ABATE of CA in the early 90's.  Bill and I have exchanged emails and shared the same thoughts many times.  Every word in Bill's obituary is true.  We will miss him terribly.  The world has lost a good man, a patriot, and a true biker.  We will miss you Bill but we will meet again in Heaven!

Bill Bish was a motorcycling guru.  Bill Bish was a rock solid guy who always talked straight and honestly and earnestly with me.  I enjoyed seeing him year after year at motorcycling conventions and he was always the most helpful, willing, capable participant there.  An excellent speaker and writer.  I am so sorry for the loss of such a great man and marine veteran.  These conventions will not be the same anymore.  My sincere condolences to his loving wife and family, they have a lot to remember about this very memorable man.

Dearest Darlene,
  I was saddened to learn of Bill's passing today.  I am so sorry for your loss and want to send you my condolences.  Unfortunately, as with most families today miles separate us from each other as we have followed different paths. But I have two fond memories of Bill.  The 1st was at my dad's funeral. Bill, whom I had never met before that day, came up to me, hugged me, told me how sorry he was to learn of dad's passing, introduced himself to me and shook my hand and told me if there was anything he could help me with I shouldn't hesitate to ask. The second memory I have of him was when I received a copy of an article he wrote about dad in your magazine.  I couldn't believe how thoughtful and kind this man was to write such gracious words about my dad. He was a true gentleman,  an inspiring writer and I'm sure an unbelievable husband. But you already knew that. Again, I'm sorry for your lost. May God bless you and keep you and I will say a prayer for you and your family.

All our hearts are broken at this most horrible news that Bill has gone to heaven before us.  He was the most wonderful human being and the most fierce motorcycle rights advocate.  We were the lucky ones who knew him and were blessed because of it.  Bill will be truly missed by all of us and until we meet in Heaven, run with the angels our dearest Bill.
