Baldomero A. Vargas Sr.

Baldomero A. Vargas, Sr., passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023 at his residence in Hebbronville, Texas, at the age of 89. He was born on February 2, 1934 to Isabel Vargas and Eloisa Acevedo in Hebbronville.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Josefa P. Vargas; sons, Guadalupe Vargas and Jesse Vargas; grandsons, Jose Roy Ramirez, Jr. and Guadalupe Vargas, Jr.; granddaughters, Bridgett Alexis Vargas and April Lee Ramirez; brothers, Reynaldo Vargas, Eligio Vargas, Juan Vargas and sister, Minerva Lerma.

Baldomero leaves behind many fond memories that will forever be treasured by his children, Baldomero (Brenda) Vargas, Jr. of Midland, Texas, Rosa (Reymundo) Ramirez of Skidmore, Texas, Richard (Isabel) Vargas of Hebbronville, Hilda (Roy) Ramirez of Hebbronville, Leticia Vargas of Corpus Christi, Texas, Jose Martin (Linda) Vargas of Benavides, Texas and Robert (Patty) Vargas of Hebbronville; siblings, Olivero (Bonnie) Vargas of Elkhart, Marta Estraca of Los Ybanez, Texas and Pedro Vargas of Mathis, Texas; 39 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Baldomero Vargas, III, Reymundo Ramirez, III, Ricky Vargas, Jr., Valerie Welcher, Roberto Benavides, Robert Vargas, Jr., Jose Martin Vargas, Jr. and Del Angel Rodriguez.

Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 3, 2023 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Hebbronville with Visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville and services will conclude with Burial at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
