Maria R. Gonzalez passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020 at a hospital in Laredo, Texas at the age of 83. She was born on August 9, 1937 to Regino Palacios and Gregoria Flores in Aguilares, Texas.

Maria is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Antonio M. Gonzalez and her daughter, Sandra Rivera.

Her wonderful memories will be treasured by her sons, Jose Antonio Gonzalez, Ricardo (Norma) Gonzalez both of Oilton, Texas and Gilberto (Elvia) Gonzalez of Hebbronville, Texas; daughters, Gabriela (Gustavo) Davila of Oilton, Patricia (Fermin) Berrios of Mirando City, Texas and Sylvia (Horacio) Cantu of Oilton; sisters, Flora (Roberto) Cruz of Wisconsin and Hortencia (Anselmo) Laurel of McAllen, Texas; 33 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and many extended family members.

Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a Holy Rosary at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, October 23, 2020 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville. Services will conclude with Burial at the Magnolia Cemetery in Mirando City.
