Sylvia Niño entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 12, 2021 at her residence in Falfurrias, Texas at the age of 66. She was born on December 22, 1954 to Cecilio G. Niño, Sr. and Francisca F. Perez Niño in Falfurrias. She worked for many years as a Manager in the fast food industry. Subway and Dairy Queen in Premont, Texas were her most recent employers.
Sylvia was a faithful Christian and good-hearted and hard working person. She would never complain about anything that came her way and was always grateful for her blessings. She adored horses and her pets, especially her dog, Molly. She loved cooking, baking, and spending time with her family.
She was reunited in Heaven with her parents Cecilio and Francisca Niño; her sister, Corina Niño Escobar; two nephews, Jose Luis Niño, Jr. and Roberto Niño, Jr. and her sister-in-law, Berta Niño.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories her two sons, Roger Lee Gonzalez, Sr. of Falfurrias and John David (Bonita) Gonzalez of Campwood, Texas; two grandchildren, Roger Lee Gonzalez, Jr. and Caitlynn Gonzalez of Falfurrias; eight brothers, Cecilio (Nancy) Niño, Jr. of Falfurrias, Roberto (Norma) Niño of Iowa City, Iowa, Jose Luis Niño of Premont, Texas, Hector Niño of Falfurrias, Rolando Niño of Iowa City, Alonzo (Amanda) Niño of Falfurrias, LeRoy (Veronica) Niño of Premont and Noel Niño of Falfurrias; three sisters, Debra Lee (Roel) Rosas of Falfurrias, Veronica (Abel Gonzalez) Niño of Falfurrias, and Roxanna (Homero) Hernandez of Ricardo, Texas; her dog, Molly and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
