Vicenta R. Castañeda, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at a hospital in Laredo, Texas at the age of 85. She was born on July 17, 1932 to Gregorio Reyna and Maria Herrera in Hebbronville, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pablo Castaneda, Jr. and her siblings, Estefana Rodriguez, Aniceto Reyna and Petra Eureste.
Vicenta leaves behind to cherish her wonderful memories her brothers, Isabel Reyna, David (Eudalia) Reyna both of Hebbronville and Gregorio (Elvira) Reyna of California; sisters, Rosa (+Rene) Ramirez and Maria Delia Reyna both of Hebbronville and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Tolentino, Jr., Odell Ruiz, Ruben Rodriguez, Tom Ruiz, Rene Ramirez, Matthew Tolentino. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mauro Rodriguez, Bobby Tolentino, Rogelio Reyna and Gregorio Reyna.
Holy Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville. Burial will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery
