Catherine D. Ferranti
October 1, 1964 – July 16, 2018
Catherine D. “Cathie” (Murphy) Ferranti, age 53, of Attleboro, passed away peacefully Monday, July 16, 2018 at Philip Hulitar surrounded by family and friends. She was wife of Richard “Rick” E. She worked for the past 14 years with a tremendous work “family” as the Executive Assistant/Corporate Secretary to the President and Board of Directors at Bank Newport. She enjoyed her job and took pride in her work all the while with a smile on her face and an “Ola’” for everyone. Her upbeat attitude, positivity, and unforgettable smile will be missed. .
An adventurous woman, she was a member of the Lady of Harley Owners Group and enjoyed bike runs for charity. She also enjoyed golfing and spending time at the beach. Cathie would be the first to say that she has been blessed in so many ways one of which is by her loving and supportive family and the abundance of friends she was surrounded by.

My sweet baby sister,
I miss you more than words can express. I’ve spent a lifetime loving you from the day you came home from the hospital to the day you took your last breath. So many good time and the occasional bad, tons of laughter and love and the occasional tears. We mourned the loss of Daddy, Mom, and Gram together and grew closer with each.
Now I mourn the loss of your physical being but I celebrate and cherish our memories, friendship, and the closeness...I miss you sweet cheeks but you’ll be forever in my heart and with me always. ❤️❤️❤️

I remember the look in my son's eyes when he looked at you and the happiness that radiated from both of you. Thank you sweet Cathie for being so loving and caring to Rick and his girls, it was an honor to have you join our family, even though the time was too short. Rest in Peace sweetheart.

A lifetime of family gatherings! Thanksgivings most of all! Cathie always had strong hugs, lots of smiles and funny anecdotes. I can hear her laugh. Gulf Shores-August-2017!

Cathie was a light whose memory will keep living in our hearts. She was a shining light to my family! A best friend to my sister, another daughter to my Mom and a fun friend to me. Watching Cathie and Mom hugging each other was a big squeeze match. Unforgettable hugs. The kind of hug that is given with a sincere squeezing, rocking happiness to see you; a ' I feel loved ' hug.
Rick, you two were the complete couple. 💟 sorry that time was cut short.
My deepest condolences to you, your beautiful daughters, Cathie's family and all those she impacted.

My Dearest memory of Cathie how I was far from the popular one in school but Cathie would always take me under her wing walk home from school with me and invite Cheryl Ferriea and myself to listen to Tom Petty

Our fondest memories are when she came to our family reunions. She was always a ray of sunshine and always took the time to spend time with others. Cathie will be missed but will be in our hearts forever.
Miss you Cathie
