Irene T. Faria

Born in Providence, RI, the daughter of the late Robert H. and Regina L. (Jalbert) Rowe. She was educated in Sacred Heart School and was a 1947 graduate of B. M. C. Durfee High School. Irene was employed in the Tiverton Tax Assessors Office for fifteen years and was a longtime communicant of Holy Ghost Church. Irene was also a longtime summer resident of South Swansea.

Surviving: one daughter; Maureen E. Pacheco and her husband Daniel of Swansea, five sons; Thomas K. Faria and his wife Elizabeth of Tiverton, James A. Faria and his wife Patsy of Ipswich, Robert G. Faria of Pocasset, Raymond C. Faria of Attleboro, and John P. “Jack” Faria of South Swansea, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Her funeral will take place on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 10AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter St. Fall River, followed by a funeral mass at 11AM in Holy Ghost Church, 316 Judson St., Tiverton. Burial will be in Pocasset Hill Cemetery. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 5PM-8PM.
