Kenneth W. Freeborn Jr.

Born in Fall River, the son of Kenneth W. Freeborn retired FRPD Deputy Chief and the late Mildred (Ormston) Freeborn, he was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School and a United States Air Force Veteran. Mr. Freeborn was a Firefighter with the Fall River Fire Department for many years until his retirement several years ago. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and cooking.

In addition to his father he is survived by three children: Kayla Freeborn of Miami, FL, Kenneth W. Freeborn III and Korey Freeborn both of Fall River; two sisters Donna M. Mazzarella of Fall River and Theresa Fitzpatrick of Somerset; a brother Samuel S. Freeborn of Fall River; a granddaughter Amelia Freeborn; his Fiancé Mary Goodrich of Stoughton and several nieces and nephews. Kenny was also the brother of the late Edward G. Freeborn.

His Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at 10AM in Holy Rosary Chapel 120 Beattie St., Fall River. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 7pm in the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Cherry Place 178 Winter St., Fall River. Burial will be private.
