Born in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, a daughter of the late Sun Long and Touch Loung, she immigrated to the United States in 1988 living in Portland, Maine for a few years, prior to settling in Fall River.
In addition to being a homemaker and raising her children, she enjoyed cooking and gardening. She loved all things politics and history. She knew many fun facts.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters: Mony Chim and her husband Aaron Chea of Cranston, Belle Hong and her husband Thomas Alston; one son, Monorom Hong; two sisters, Sivorn and Sivarn Long all of Fall River and one granddaughter, Soben Chea of Cranston. She was the sister of the late Chansat and Vansi Long.
Her visitation will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 8:15 to 9:15AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River, followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00AM in the Chapel of Memory and Hope at Swan Point Crematory, 585 Blackstone Blvd., Providence, RI. Relatives and friends are invited.
