Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late George and Cora (Lewis) Stafford, she spent her youth in Fall River, lived in Westport most of her life, returning to Fall River four years ago.
Mrs. Daigle worked at the former Firestone Tire and Rubber Company for over 30 years and was a member of the United Congregational Church in Westport. She enjoyed knitting, sewing and crochet.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews including: Milton “Milt” Stafford of Middletown, RI, Linda Stafford of Fall River, MA, Bev Robidoux and her husband Roger of Westport, MA and Carol Mezzanotti of Swansea, MA.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 1:00 PM in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter St Fall River. Relatives and friends invited. Her family will receive friends in the funeral home Thursday from 12 noon – 1:00PM prior to her Service. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery Fall River.
