Georgianna Basye

If I Should Go by Joyce Grenfell If I should die before the rest of you, Break not a flower nor inscribe a stone. Nor, when I’m gone, speak in a Sunday voice, But be the usual selves that I have known. Weep if you must, Parting is hell. But life goes on, So sing as well.

So sorry I am unable to attend. Just seen the obituary today, and unable to make the airline connections.
Georgianna was the sweetest Aunt, always happy to see us and pretty honest about expressing her thoughts. She will be missed by many. Thank you Gary and your wife, in taking care of her in her final years.

Aunt Georgianna always had a smile on her face and love in her heart. She was full of kindness and was unconditional in her love. While she put her family ahead of her own needs, she never considered it a sacrifice. She will be missed but not forgotten!

I will always remember Aunt Georgianna's smile, generosity and loving kindness towards us. In the midst of so many of life's trials and difficulties she never stopped smiling and laughing! What a joy! God bless her as she meets those of our family who have gone before to be with God in Heaven.

Aunt Georgianna and Uncle Walter were generous -and brave-! to make the six of us (plus parents) welcome to their beach home for many summers as we grew up.
When our Dad passed away, Aunt Georgianna came to the service . She looked down at Dad, her younger brother, and said, "You weren't supposed to do this."
Now, in Christ Jesus our Savior and Lord, along with Uncle Walter, Molly and Walter, she and Dad are reunited. No more suffering no more sorrow.
