Leatrice Joy Brincefield of Clarksville, Maryland passed away peacefully February 10, 2020 at the age of 95. Joy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister.

Joy was born on October 21, 1924 in Wheelersburg, Kentucky. March 19, 1947 she married the love of her life, Carey W. Brincefield of Washington, D.C.. Carey and Joy built a life in Washington and later moved to Clarksville, Maryland where they have resided for over 60 years.

The funeral will be held at National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Hwy., Falls Church, VA on February 13, 2020. The family will receive friends from 10:00am-11:30am. A Celebration of Life service will immediately follow adjourning to the gravesite for internment.

The Brincefield Family extends sincere thanks to Montgomery Hospice, Casey House for their warm and exceptional care of Joy. We kindly ask that in lieu of flowers, donations to Montgomery Hospice, Casey House be considered.

Mrs B. as we called her was beautiful inside and out. Her name JOY describes her perfectly.... A lady thru and thru. What an amazing cook she was!! I still love making Mrs. Bs potato recipe Love to the family as she will be deeply missed. ❌⭕️❤️
