My deepest condolences to Millie's family. She was my hairstylist and dear friend for 20 years. My monthly visits to her at the salon were more about spending 90 minutes with a close friend--getting my hair styled was incidental to the experience. We always had great conversations.

Millie was a gentle spirit and was kind to everyone. She was a talented artist. I especially loved her paintings of lighthouses. She also demonstrated incredible courage and poise in her battle against breast cancer. Her example of a life well lived is a model for all of us. I mourn her loss and I will never forget her.

Heartbroken for our beloved neighbors of 19 years. Millie was the kindest neighbor and friend we could have asked for - a surrogate Grandmother to our sons and endlessly tolerant of our cat.
