Barbara Ann Latchney, 71, of Palm Coast, entered into rest on July 18, 2020. Miss Barbara was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, to Rocco and Martha Musella on January 15, 1949. She loved visiting the Lillian Heritage House to attend Victorian Teas. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bunnell. Miss Barbara loved crafting, it didn’t matter what crafts, she was prepared for, and enjoyed all of them. Barbara would help everyone even taking anyone home when they needed it. For at least 6 years, Miss Barbara sent clothes, toys, and just about anything needed to the Navajo Indian Reservation Ministry in Chinle, Arizona.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband John Latchney, her children, Michal Latchney, Marc and wife Risa Latchney, and Michele Latchney. She is further survived by her grandchildren Marisa Latchney, Ryan Mezzina, and Megan Latchney. Miss Barbara was a woman with a heart of gold who loved life and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. First met Barbara at our church when she volunteered to help put on a "tea" for our ladies and boy, she knew how to do it!!!! 120 ladies enjoyed her artful work!!! She loved her tea parties almost as much as she loved her Lord!! She was energetic, enthused, and encouraging with all she did including her illness. Barbara, you were such a witness to the faithfullness of God's love and protection. Barbara wanted everyone to know Jesus and we prayed often for her family to come to love Him as she did as she wanted everyone with her some day in Heaven! (she had NO doubt where her soul would be at passing). Now she is with Him in his arms forever. Love and prayers to your family Barbara and may they know your peace also, Marge and Bova Ankrom

Barb and I met 18 years ago and found we had so much in common. Barb was one of the strongest and bravest and most caring people I have ever known. She was always doing for others and it came from her heart. The last time we were together with friend, Linda Heimer. We went to Barb's favorite Shake Place and got our vanilla shakes to go. Went to Flagler Beach to watch the ocean. It was there that we three had the best laugh during a conversation. It was absolutely one of my best memories of Barb. She passed with a happy heart and was ready to be with the Lord as she had recently said. Her family found their love for each other and that was the greatest gift she received. Barb will forever be in my heart and each butterfly I see, I will know she is near.

I met Barbara about 16 years ago and learned so much about her life and family. She loved her family even though at times their relationship was strained. Barbara was a lovely soul and seemed so kind and gentle. I’m happy that her entire family was with her at the end of her life. I’m sure she will be watching over them. They should look for signs of her everywhere. May Barbara Rest In Peace.
