Harry was born in Monongahela, PA to Harry Sr. and Ruth. He received his Industrial Engineering degree from the Pennsylvania State University in 1969. He worked for US Steel in Pittsburgh, traveling the world during his 30 year career. On June 21st of 1969 he married his high school sweet heart, Janet Elaine Blohme. They raised two children who adored him, Carrie and Stephen.
Harry was an avid golfer and was involved in numerous golf associations since retiring to Palm Coast Florida in 1998. He was kind and compassionate, a great story teller and always remembered your name. He also had a passion for cars and buying them… whenever Jan would let him!
Surviving are his loving wife of 49 years, Janet Bentz, his children, Stephen Bentz (Nashville, TN) Carrie Krosse and her husband James (Pittsburgh, PA) and two grandchildren he cherished, Kaelyn and Tommy. The family request no flowers and that contributions be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital @ www.st.jude.org . Arrangements are in the care and trust of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
