OBITUARY
Chine LEE
March 13, 1939 – October 12, 2020
Chine Lee, 81, of Bayside, New York, passed away on October 12, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.
He was married to Yuet (Lisa), who survives him. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this past June. In addition to his wife, Chine is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Min and Winnie Lee, his children, Janet, David, and Kevin, his eight grandchildren, and extended family.
Chine worked at the Metropolitan Transit Authority for 40 years and reached the position of General Superintendent, Signals. He loved his time at the MTA and the people he worked with, many of whom became friends for life. He always watched the New York sports teams even though he thought the players were all overpaid. There are so many happy memories from the cruises, vacations, casino trips, and dim sum that Chine and Lisa shared with friends and family. We’ll miss having him regale us with his stories and karaoke renditions of ‘My Way’ at Christmas.
I've lived a life that's full
I've travelled each and every highway
And more, much more than this
I did it my way
